Joy krimmel

Joy Krimmel supports Rise Community Capital on project engagements for both real estate sponsor clients and CDE clients.  She brings a mix of accounting, finance, real estate development and non-profit management experience.  

Prior to joining Rise Community Capital, she was the Director of Finance at Judd Foundation, a non-profit artist foundation for Donald Judd with locations in NYC and Marfa, TX, where she managed all financial aspects of the foundation. She was previously the Chief Financial Officer of The Rose Urban Green Fund, the NMTC arm of Jonathan Rose Companies. Joy began her career working in the audit division of Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Joy has a Master of City Planning from University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Community and Economic Development and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Spanish from Tulane University. She is an advisory board member of the Tulane School of Architecture. 

Joy has a strong interest in Modern and Contemporary Art. She enjoys exploring different cities and finding opportunities to speak Spanish or German. Raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida, she feels most at home at sea level in a tropical environment.
